Cosmos Clue Scavenger Hunt Giveaway
I’m excited to be part of a fun project starting next month: Cotton Cuts Fall 2019 Puzzle Mystery Quilt!
Cotton Cuts along with 8 other wonderful quilting bloggers/instagrammers are hosting a charity blog hop. Each month, one of us will assemble a Puzzle Mystery Quilt clue and post about it. At the end of the 9 month project, Cotton Cuts will finish the quilt and we will raffle it off, with all proceeds going to Valley Industries. Valley Industries is a sheltered workshop for disabled individuals that Cotton Cuts uses for their box fulfillment process.
So, to get things started, we are doing a Cosmos Clue scavenger hunt. Look for this clue on the following sites and enter to win prizes! Have fun and watch for my blog post in October!
The mystery quilt along is a subscription where each month you’ll receive a quilt clue kit with all the pieces precut and you will receive a clue to turn the pieces into a portion of the quilt. Then, the tenth and final month you’ll be given the instructions to turn all the pieces into a quilt.
To enter the here, tell me if you’ve ever participated in a mystery quilt along and what you thought, or ask any question you might have!
The giveaway will run 48 hours, starting at noon CST on June 26th and ending at noon CST June 28th. I will pick a winner who will receive a FREE Fat Quarter bundle from the Cosmos line of their choice. Then Cotton Cuts will pick a Grand Prize winner to receive a FREE Cosmos Puzzle Mystery Quilt of their choice!
You can find all the details on the Cotton Cuts website here, and don’t forget to visit the other bloggers who will be participating in the Mystery Quilt as well:

I love mystery quilts – have done lots of them (and some even got finished) – always like Bonnie Hunter’s annual one!
Hi Jennie, I have participated in several designer mystery quilt alongs with the Fat Quarter Shop and Fig Tree Quilts. I enjoy them because they are paced and I can work on the blocks at a more leisurely pace. The downside is as I get closer to the finish, I get excited and want to get it all together. This looks like great fun ❤️, I am struggling with which choice of fabric. 😳
I am doing the current mystery quilt and just signed up for the new one with cotton cuts.
I’ve done mystery quilts before but not with Cotton Cuts. I love mystery quilts because it’s fun not knowing what to expect. I love how cotton cuts pull fabrics so you know they will go together in the end.
Heidi looks like fun!
I’ve never participated in a mystery quilt along before. The Cotton Cuts Cosmos PMQ will be my first. I’m very excited about it!
I’ve never done a mystery quilt before. I love the idea, but also slightly terrifying. LOL

I have never done a quilt along but would love to try it!
I have never done a mystery quilt a long…. Im a little nervous about doing one thinking I will not like the pattern or it will be too difficult etc.
I have not done a mystery quilt yet. I did by a package of fabric to complete a spring mystery quilt from Fort Worth Fabrics Studio, but I have not started it yet. I am looking forward to this mystery quilt as all of the pieces will be cut.
I did a mystery QAL several years ago. I was unsure going in, but really loved how the quilt turned out. It was interesting to choose fabrics without knowing how they would go together.
Love the Reiki colorway and can’t wait to get started on the new PMQ!
I’ve never tried any kind of quilt along before.
I love the colors of Amy & Reiki, they scream “do something with me”.
Never done a mystery quilt before! Can’t wait to try one!
I never did a mystery quilt
No I’ve done other quilt alongs but I like to know the pattern in advance so I’ve never done a mystery one.
I couldn’t chose between Charlotte and Amy colorways for the PMQ, so I let my girls pick and of course, the chose the purples, so we went with Amy. So I would LOVE an opportunity to put together a Charlotte, too!
Never did a mystery, sounds interesting.
I have been doing the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilts for several years now and I really enjoy them.
I have participated in several mystery quilt-a-longs. I am always thrilled when they are revealed!
I have only participated in one mystery quilt along. It was fun! I loved each of the monthly blocks the designers created. However, I didn’t care for the way it was all put together in the end. Thankfully, I didn’t buy the setting kit, and I finished it more to my taste preference. I love it!
I have participated in only one mystery quilt along. It was so much fun!
This is my second mystery quilt. I love getting precut pieces and ending up with a beautiful quilt top!
I have never participated in a mystery quilt. It would be a real challenge for me because I want to plan my fabrics and how they interact.
I’ve never been a part of a mystery quilt-a-long. I’ve thought about it, but I always wondered how to choose fabrics, etc. if you don’t know what you’re doing! LOL OK if I don’t know what I’m doing!
I have completed lots of B.O.M., but no mystery quilts. Should be fun!
Hi! This is the first I have heard of a mystery quilt along. So is my understanding that this QAL will begin later in the year or very soon? I’m expecting our #2 any day now (cramps Ohno) so I would not be able to join something until later
I’ve never participated but it sounds like fun
My first BOM was a mystery quilt, and I enjoyed it. I haven’t done one since; the financial commitment makes me reluctant to agree without knowing something about what it will end up looking like. (I’m a little bit controlling…)
I have never worked on a mystery quilt. I always wanted to but thought it would be hard to pick out fabrics. This one sounds much easier.
I have never participated in a mystery quilt along… sounds like thisone would be fun!
I am doing the Cotton Cuts current mystery and just signed up for the new one.

I have not participated in a mystery quilt along, I’m tempted because I LOVE the colorways, but also scared,,,what if I don’t like the pattern?
I’m on my 2nd PMQ with Cotton Cuts, and signed up for Cosmos. As a beginner, I love that they do all of the cutting for me, leaving me to be able to focus on learning how to do the piecing. And the being able to be a part of the PMQ group has taught me so much, most importantly being that a finished quilt is better than a perfect quilt!
This is my very 1st sew along….. I hope I can keep up and understand!! Just bought my sewing machine in Nov. So….. let’s hope!! I am so excited to try!
I have not tried it. But interested.
I have never done a mystery quilt or even a quilt along. I am excited about this one because it will be my very first one.

I’ve never done a mystery quilt, sounds like fun!
I have in the past but not lately.
I like to use directional prints, so I always worry about whether or not I will like the final product.
Unfortunately, I have never participated in a mystery quilt along due to time restraints, but it is definitely on my bucket list. Thanks!
I have done Mystery quilts before. I always try to do one every New Years Day.

I just finished the Stratford Mystery BOM .. both the Large and Small … in two different colorways … They are so much fun to do .. having everything precut and ready to go makes it so much easier to keep up for me! This time around I will be doing Heidi … can’t wait to get started!
I have participated in a mystery quilt at a persons house before. It was so much fun. We picked out the fabric and then simply showed up to her house and began making the mystery quilt there. Dinner by her chef husband was included in the price which was amazing!
Onto my third mystery quilt and they have all been fantastic
I have done BOM’s given online where I did not know what the quilt would look like until the end. But I have picked the fabric and cut the pieces, etc myself.
