Spelling Bee Sew Along :: Camera

I’m back for another contribution to the Spelling Bee Sew Along with Fat Quarter Shop! This week I got to sew the camera block (you can see my letter E block here!), which is one of my favorite things! Instead of making the smaller block, I went for the larger, 12″, block this time. One of my favorite features of this book is that each bloc has a smaller 6″ tall size, and then a 12″ tall as well! I didn’t quite realize how large it would be, and now I’m thinking with one more border it will be perfect for a pillow!

The pink Charleston print by Amy Sinibaldi is one of my latest fabric obsessions.  After rapidly sewing through the one yard I purchased, I grabbed a couple more while it’s still available! And that navy plaid from Maribel by Annabelle Wrigley is another favorite I stocked up on! The other fabrics have been in my stash for a while, but I thought they worked well together!
