Coming Soon: the Flora supply case

Flora-supply-case-closedSummer has set in here, the temperatures are high and we went on a family vacation to Maine! Even though I’m trying to slow down a little bit this summer, I’ve still been working on a new pattern that I’m hoping to release next week {if I can keep squeezing it in amidst the day trips and adventures!}, it’s a little supply case I designed, inspired by some amazing pencil pouches I saw on Pinterest {because everything is inspired by something, right?!}.

flora-supply-case-insideThis particular one was a gift for a friend in our birthday club, since she loves planners like I do, there’s some planner goodies stuffed inside. However, some of my testers have stuffed theirs with sewing notions too. You can see a sampling of tester cases by searching the #florasupplycase on Instagram. I’ll be releasing this pattern at a special price too, so keep on the lookout as the sale won’t last long!

Thanks for taking a moment to stop by and take a peek, I’d love to know what you’d pack inside a case like this! Hope you’re having a wonderful summer {if it’s started for you yet}. We’re off to a local farm this morning, my children are always excited to be outside! While vacationing and driving, my oldest asked, “when are we going to do something fun, like go on a hike?” Love it!

  1. Just love the soft blues and other fabrics you used in this beautiful supply case. I think I would keep some sticky note pads and postage stamps and stickers in mine. I’m always sending off birthday cards and love having all the extra necessities in one handy spot.

  2. Looking forward to the release, it’s a practical size. I’ll probably use it for toting a particular project to my sewing group. FYI, I went to the East Cobb Quilt Show today and as usual got a complement on my bag and they asked about the pattern. It’s one I tested, the Sadie Reversible Tote.

  3. Great idea – looks like a fabulous pattern 🙂 I just reviewed one of your patterns on my blog if you are interested – it was the first time I have made a purse and it worked out wonderfully, so thank you!

  4. Wow, great idea looking forward to the pattern release. Would use it to keep sewing notions and glue pens when I take my paper pieced hexy patchwork to Sewing Circle group. The hexies are one inch so will take ages to make even a small quilt so the pouch will be will used. Sharon x
