the Felicity bag – A Work in Progress
I’m excited to show you the new bag I made last week! I really like those neat purse frames {I got mine at While Baby Naps on Etsy}, and have been wanting to incorporate one in a bag design, so it seemed like the time to get it done! The fabrics I used were all from my blogger bundle for Fluffy Sheep Quilting, I love how they work together!
Since this is a different type of bag than I’ve made before, I decided to give it a test run this week and found a few places I can make it even better. So, bear with me while I work on it some more and then get the pattern released {sadly, I already took all the photos, only to have to start again!}.
Since I’m really excited to release this one, hopefully I can get lots of cooperation from my little ones to get this done {sewing with a bunch of toddlers is easier said than done!}.
Hope you’ve been enjoying a lovely summer so far! I’m melting in this east coast heat, especially after the temperate climate of Monterey! Thank goodness for air conditioning!
I absolutely love the way you have used the purse frame. Fingers crossed your little ones are nice to their mummy and you get some time. Most things to do with toddlers are easier said than done!
I always enjoy seeing your lovely purse patterns and the wonderful fabric you use for each one. This is another special one!
I like the bows on the sides.
I love this bag. I’ve never seen those purse frames over here. I’ll have to look out for them xx
What a fun bag Jennie! It just scream summer! Need any help? 😉 Have a happy week!
Nice bag – the fabrics shout summer!!!
Oh this is gorgeous – love how you have incorporated the frame closure and I’m looking forward to the pattern release 🙂
Jenny, that is looking gorgeous – a beautiful choice of fabrics, the colours pop! I think this is your best bag ever. Can’t wait to see it finished. 🙂
Still loving this bag! Any estimated time when it will be available? Thanks!!
