Organization :: Tidy Bobbins
This contributor post is written by Donna of donnaslavenderest
Hi guys my name is Donna from  donnaslavenderest.  I am so excited to be here with Clover & Violet as a contributor.  Each month I will show you different ways to organize your sewing room.
Do your bobbins ever look like this?
I have found that if you use these hair ties it will keep the thread in place. Â You can find the hair ties at most Wal-Marts or Dollar Store’s.
I just love them and use them to coordinate with the thread colors. Â Makes it easier to know what color thread is on your bobbin. Â I found the bobbin case at JoAnn’s it has a lid and keeps your bobbins in place and neat. Â The bobbin case is by Dritz.
Thank you so much to the ladies at Clover and Violet for having me over.  It has been a lot of fun.   I will see you here again next month.  I would love it if you would stop in and visit me a while at  donnaslavendernest
Hugs,
donna
What a great idea, Donna!
What a wonderful idea! I’m going to apply this right away! Thank You Donna!
Thank you Donna. I bought some of those hair ties for my little girl but they were useless for using in her hair. Now they have a new purpose and my bobbins are looking much better. 🙂
Yes, I have a box like that! Great idea Donna.
Sweet idea!! Thank you Donna!! xo Heather
That is a fantastic idea! I’ll be grabbing some next time I’m at the Dollar Store. At least I hope they still have them. Stores never seem to have the things I’ve seen before when I finally have an idea on what to do with it! lol
BRILLIANT! we women can be so creative when problem solving!
I like using the sprial binding rings from the office supply store. You can cut them singulauly or cut as many as you need . These are great for taking with you to class or retreat and the bobbins stay put in a nice neat row.
Is there a clear option so you can quickly see your thread color? I like the idea of corralling all those loose thread ends!
Such a cute and wonderful idea!!! Thanks so much for sharing! Wishing you a lovely day! xo Holly
Well if this isn’t one of the most clever ideas! A big thanks to sweet Donna for the tips 🙂
Great idea, Donna! I never thought to coordinate the pony holder color to the thread color. Brilliant!
