A Cupcake Bib and a Scrumptious Bag Beginning
I made this simple bib for baby Lydia and finished the raw edge with ric rac instead of binding for a quicker, easier finish. I really like the contrast of the pink and blue fabrics.
I used a couple of small pieces of Velcro for closure and it was done in no time, I can’t wait to see it on her.
Here are the fabrics we chose for our newest project: a different style of diaper bag! It has lots of pretty Scrumptious and some Ruby by Bonnie and Camille for Moda. Also some Moda Crossweave for the main fabric! I had so much fun having all this pretty fabric delivered to my house.
We wanted to use smaller squares so I cut down 5″ charms and look at the cute scraps I was left with. We may not use all the colors in the line on this one project, just not sure yet. But these scraps are so pretty I think I need to plan a little project for them too!
This bag is going to be so pretty, Bonnie and Camille make the loveliest designs.
Such a cute bib……I love the blue ric rac with the pink cupcake print, it is very pretty!

Darling bib! Your new fabrics are beautiful. Can’t wait to see the bag.
I just love the scrumptious fabric line! Been working on a quilt with it this past week and just seeing the fabrics makes me smile! I can’t wait to see how your diaper bag turns out. I have been looking for a diaper bag for when my baby comes next month, perhaps I should be considering the possibility of making one! 🙂
Darling bib! And the new fabrics look so fun! Have a great time playing with them!
The bib is soooo sweet! I can’t wait to see some pictures with Lydia wearing it. I am excited to see the new diaper bag. Kelly is blessing us with another grandbaby in November! XOXOXO
Can’t wait to see the new bag. Love the Scrumptious line!
You guys do such great stuff Love all you share with us.
What great colors! And that bib puts me in mind of gorgeous, retro, 50’s aprons. 🙂 Much love to you all!
