Folded Fabric Rose Headbands
This morning, while the kids were eating breakfast {and lunch} I made some folded fabric roses for my girls’ hair. I started out making them for baby 3’s newborn pictures, but they are kind of contagious.
Then, since Norah likes to wear “hair bows” so much, I thought maybe I’d make her one too, she doesn’t have much red, so it seemed like a good choice:
She was pretty excited to get to wear it too.
She really loves having her picture taken {even if she doesn’t often stand still long enough to get a good one!}. Here she is saying “cheese”.
And, because all sisters need a few matching outfits or accessories, I made these two, and I think I’ll put them on some headbands. I used foldover elastic for my test headband for Baby Stella and am thinking it might be a good idea for little girls too.
There are lots of tutorials out there to make flowers like these, I make mine like this and this {and I have a tutorial to make one out of cuddle fabric here}, but I seriously want to try these really tight ones, maybe next!
These are so cute. Perfect idea for my little granddaughter!
Oh, those are so cute and they look darling on Norah too!!
What a precious little girl! the flowers are so very cute.
