Coming Soon :: the Lucy hobo {sewing pattern}
Update: the Lucy hobo pattern is now available as a PDF here or in printed version here!
Ever feel like you’ve bit off more than you can chew? That seems to be the summary of most of my days lately. I guess sometimes I forget that I’m not super woman, instead I’m just a mom with two little kids and a busy life.
So, when I promised RJR Fabrics the pattern to the Lucy hobo would be finished in June…I should have thought a little more carefully about that deadline being in the midst of our big move; as a result, we were quite surprised and thrilled to see our bag as part of the Adventures by Stephanie Wright advertisement!
We actually designed this bag last summer, but it ended up mostly sewn by my mom and in my closet waiting for finishing for months, due to other projects and deadlines. So, we’re glad to finally have it ready for release soon {hopefully this weekend!}. I have have been using the original for the last couple of months and really love the size of it and the exterior cell phone pocket {my mom is genius!}.
We will have more details soon, but in the meantime, you can see some more pictures of the Lucy hobo here. And, if you’d like to be notified as soon as the pattern is released, please let us know and you’ll receive an e-mail.
Thanks for all your continued support and patience! Hope you’re having a great summer.
Oooh…very cute! This bag looks very similar in size to my everyday purse…it is perfect!
It’s lovely! I can relate to feeling as though I’ve bit off more than I can chew. That seems to happen a lot these days!
Really cute, once again! Outside pockets are so important when buying/making a new bag!
Gorgeous bag! I think you are doing really well, Jennie, with all that has been happening for you this summer!
