a season by handToday we’re welcoming Amy of Lots of Pink Here.  Amy’s blog is full of pretty inspiration, tutorials, and she’s recently released her first sewing pattern, Travel Games, that you can find here.  One of her most popular tutorials is her travel sewing kit, and it is fabulous.  My mom made me one and I use it all the time!  Amy is also the owner of Pinked Fabrics, where you can find designer fabric, trim, and notions.  If you’ve ever made a little stack of English paper pieced hexagons that you didn’t know what to do with, Amy has a great tutorial for us today!

Hi!!!  I am Amy Dunn and I have a little blog called lots of pink here!  I have two little girls (ages 4 and 6) and so we have lots of girly pink things in our house!  I am so thrilled to be here on Clover and Violet today guest posting for Season by Hand.  I love hand sewing projects and I love to incorporate them into my machine sewn projects, it always seems to make them a little more special!  Hexagons are the perfect way to do just that.  The tiny ones are always my favorite!!  They fit on pretty much anything and are great for using up those tiny and precious scraps that you just can’t bear to part with.  So if you want to make a fun pouch like this one then please visit me and lets get started!
