Some Notes
I had a busy weekend at my sewing machine, in spite of the heat! It is a little odd to think it might be skirt and tank top weather at the end of October {especially considering our previous life in northern New York…}. I’ve been stitching like crazy preparing for the next Stitch & Quilt Along, which {hopefully} should kick off on Friday!
I’ll give you a bit of a hint as to what we’re making this time around…take a peek at the photo to the left. It’s something we make a lot of and thought it was about time we shared a new, original pattern on our blog for all of you {the pattern isn’t complete yet, so you’ll have to settle for a repeat photo of an old one for now}.
If bags aren’t your thing, I’m working on some other options to go with the new embroidery pattern too {but I really wonder, who doesn’t love bags?}.
A couple other reminders:
- There are still a few days left to enter your completed Embroidery 101 quilt top in the giveaway. And if you haven’t seen the completed tops yet, check them out, they’re pretty amazing!
- There’s also time to enter your stash project for the monthly drawing. You can enter just about anything, just make sure to follow the simple rules that go along with your entry.
- The 12 Days of Christmas Sampler Quilt Along starts tomorrow!
Seems like this week is already off to a busy start, especially for it only being Monday morning! The sewing machine is calling already….
oooo a bag!!! I am so excited. And I made room for this on my Winter Sewing List (which I am going to try very hard to stick to)!!!
Oh My! Lots of fun things to look forward to!
I double-heart bags and totes! I will keep an eye out for this Stitch and Quilt!
Can’t wait…I always need new bags! 🙂 Thanks for entering my giveaway!
Wow! I am going to check back and see what the Quilt along project is. Can’t wait!
