Sending Some Scraps
After working on her bee blocks, my mom decided she needed a wider variety of fabrics. So, I thought it would be fun to send her a few of my scraps! Since my scrap baskets seem to always be filling up, it seemed like a fun way to sort through some of them. It was fun to look through these because I’ve worked with all of these fabrics, so it will be neat to see how she uses these.
I know there are lots of views of modern prints, but some of my favorites are the ones that read as one color, like those pictured above. Are there any prints your stash couldn’t live without?
Who wouldn’t love those beauties?
I always fall for the “main print” and then I don’t have enough simple stash builder fabrics that read as one color… but I just don’t get all that excited about those!!! Until a print like the domino dots in waterfront comes out…!!!
Thank you!!!
I have some Amy Butler & Denyse Schmidt “scraps” that I still just can’t do anything with left over from other projects because they are so beautiful.
p.s. Anytime you want to send some “scraps” my way, please feel free to do so. 😉
I always have dots in my stash. I love polka dots. LOL Looks like your Mom is going to have a lot of fun with your scraps~ love the colors!
Oh we all know how that is, one person’s scraps is another’s treasures! Those are beautiful!
Lucky mom! Beautiful pieces of fabric.
I don’t really keep a stash; however, I am always reaching for Grunge by Basic Gray
ooooh, you have a lucky lucky mom! I am rabid for other people’s scraps!
I also like the ones that read as one color. Polka dots are always a staple in my stash.
Those are really cute designs. I’d like them printed on my handbag.
Lovely scraps there, brings quite a few connotations to mind. My stash would be desolate without ditsy prints I love them!
